Boys U15 Competitive
Boys Under 15 (2023-24)
Our tryouts will be in September for the U15 Competitive Team for boys born in 2009 or younger. There will be 3 tryouts and these will take place at the Flight Exec Centre in Dorchester. Registration deadline for the tryouts is Tuesday, September 12th.Please email first/last name, birth date and previous playing experience for each player you are registering to John Caulfield at caulfield.john88@gmail.com. Tryout fees of $25 can be e-transferred to the same email address as above.
Tryout Dates - September 15 - 6:30pm - 8:00pm, September 16 - 6:30pm - 8:00pm, September 17 - 9:00am - 10:30am. To be officially registered for these you must send in your tryout registration fee.
Season Info - Our season will run from the end of September until the end of May. We will be practicing one time per week until the high school season finishes and then begin having 2 practices/week in March. We will play some games prior to the competitive phase of our season but most will be taking place between March and May. We will be playing in the OBL which will commence in March and finishing with OBA Championships at the end of May. We will also have additional games/tournaments throughout the season.

About the Coaches
John Caulfield – played for Mount Saint Vincent University, former assistant coach of the Fanshawe Men’s Basketball team, high school coaching experience, and 5th year coaching with Gold Medal. National Coaches Certification Program (NCCP) Certified in basketball.
Pete McIntosh – former high school teacher with over
30 years basketball coaching experience, coaching both boys and girls high school, and 10 years with the Gold Medal Basketball Club. NCCP Level 1 and 2 fully certified.
Jamie Clark - played for Brock University, 20+ years coaching with the Gold Medal Basketball Club, LBA shooting instructor, secondary school teacher and coach, NCCP Level 1 and 2 fully certified.
Kurt Weiland - played for the University of Western Ontario, elementary school teacher with over 15 years of basketball coaching experience (girls and boys), and 6th year coaching with Gold Medal. NCCP Level 1 certified.
